Welcome Me Home
Forgive us Lord, We cannot know
The Life awaiting us, You foretold
Forgive us Lord, We cannot see
The way to walk, that sets us free
Forgive us Lord, in our darkest hour
When we give in and despair devours
It is hard to walk this narrow road
Not knowing the way, we're meant to go
It is hard to grasp, this earthly home
of fragile souls and borrowed bones
It is hard to place, beneath the stone
the fragile bones of missing soles
Remember us Lord, that we stood tall
That we served, we honored, we gave it our All.
Remember us Lord, that we Labored and Loved
We gave thanks for our blessings to the Heavens above.
Remember us Lord, that we sought not for fame,
That we rejoiced for your Son and loved ours the same
Look upon our lives and the good that we've done
Then Take Us
Embrace Us
And Welcome Us Home
The Life awaiting us, You foretold
Forgive us Lord, We cannot see
The way to walk, that sets us free
Forgive us Lord, in our darkest hour
When we give in and despair devours
It is hard to walk this narrow road
Not knowing the way, we're meant to go
It is hard to grasp, this earthly home
of fragile souls and borrowed bones
It is hard to place, beneath the stone
the fragile bones of missing soles
Remember us Lord, that we stood tall
That we served, we honored, we gave it our All.
Remember us Lord, that we Labored and Loved
We gave thanks for our blessings to the Heavens above.
Remember us Lord, that we sought not for fame,
That we rejoiced for your Son and loved ours the same
Look upon our lives and the good that we've done
Then Take Us
Embrace Us
And Welcome Us Home
2 Corinthians 4:18
So we don't look at the troubles we can see now; rather we fix our gaze on the things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.
